Job Description

Structure is on a mission to improve lives through a deep, personalized understanding of the body. Known for products like the Structure Sensor line of 3D scanners and the Structure SDK, they are leaders in 3D reconstruction for medical applications. They are looking for an enthusiastic UI/UX Designer to help create seamless scanning experiences for their customers using iOS applications.

As an Entry-Level iOS UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop a unified design system for their iOS applications. You'll contribute to creating a consistent design language, ensuring usability and accessibility, and delivering high-quality UI/UX design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design System Contribution: Assist in the creation, management, and maintenance of a unified mobile-first design system.
  • UI Component Definition: Help define reusable UI components, patterns, and interaction models for iOS applications.
  • Design Guidelines & Standards: Participate in documenting design language and usage guidelines, incorporating accessibility and usability best practices.
  • UI/UX Design Execution: Design user interfaces for new and existing mobile apps, aligned with the design system, under guidance from senior designers.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet user needs and technical requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on mobile (iOS) applications.
  • Basic understanding of design systems and design language guidelines.
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • A portfolio showcasing clean, modern interface designs and iOS mobile app designs.
  • Understanding of design fundamentals such as typography, layout, and user psychology.
  • Resourceful and tech-savvy attitude, with the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to document and articulate design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in UX research methods (interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.).
  • Familiarity with healthcare or regulated industries.
