Job Description

As a Senior Brand Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in our mission to leave behind industry jargon and create content that is data-driven and impactful. This position offers you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a high-potential brand in Fintech aiming to improve the lives of millions.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex financial concepts into effective campaigns across various channels including website, ads, emails, TV, social media etc.
• Maintain our brand voice consistency while ensuring impactful messaging across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with designers, strategists, and stakeholders to develop cohesive content architectures, copy and creative campaigns.
• Create copy informed by data insights for optimized performance and maximum impact.
• Collaborate with our data team to ensure accurate data tracking for continuous refinement of Facet’s copywriting.
• Ensure all copy adheres to relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• A compelling portfolio showcasing creative campaigns with storytelling ability and experience across traditional and emerging channels centered around a data-driven approach.
• Minimum 10 years of writing experience in branding, marketing, and 360 campaigns preferably working with in-house teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related fields.
• Experience collaborating with marketing functions within a data-informed creative culture.
• Excellent skill in simplifying verbose content into concise messages; ability to convey complex ideas simply.
• Solid understanding of how creativity can achieve business objectives while meeting brand standards for aesthetic and communication quality. Fintech experience will be an added advantage.

Benefits

The compensation ranges from $60-$80/hr for 15-20 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 30 hours per week. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Kenya or Africa.
